Motivation

I like reading motivational quotes. Here's a few on my list now:

"I will do what you won't today, So I can do what you can't tomorrow"
"Pain is temporary, pride is forever"
"Only the weak attempts to accomplish what he knows he can already achieve."
"You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take."
"To conquer oneself is a greater task than conquering others." - Gautama Buddha
"Well done is better than well said." - Benjamin Franklin

Here's were I got the quotes:
Pinoy Bodybuilding

These quotes keep me motivated talaga. Just a few words can make a lot of difference. Parang "I love you" lang yan.

My goal is sumali ng 10k run at tapusin ko ito ng hindi naglalakad

Kelan pa ba nauso ang running? Sa sobrang dami ng nakikiuso, nakakatuwa na nakakabwiset at the same time.

It's nice to see people run for fitness or for a cause (usually ang mga fun run my beneficiary). I like that. Tangina this!

Sino niloloko mo? Ulul.

A lot of Filipinos like talking bullshit.

That's why I choose to be different.

I don't write what my goal is. I don't need to write my goal just to keep reminding me of what I want to become. If you really want something, why need a piece of paper to remind you? If you write it on a piece of paper, then, you don't want it enough.

(Opcors kaya ko sinusulat dito ang isa sa mga goal ko eh for the sake of sharing.)

Going back to my topic motivation. What motivates me to reach that goal?

At, ayaw ko rin namang magyabang in the first place.

Nope, hindi rin to pangchikas. There are a lot more stuff na pwedeng pang-chikas like kwan or ano.. Although, maraming chikas talaga sa Clark Animo Run.

If I keep myself motivated para mabano sa'kin ang ibang tao, it's okay. A lot of us ganun nga ginagawa. That's an okay reasoning.

Papayat silang saglit tapos tataba na naman after a few weeks or months?

But then again, kaya ka ba gumagawa ng isang goal para lang mapasaya ang ibang tao? Do you need other people to tell you "You are doing good?" If you let other people dictate who you should be, then you will never really be happy. Because you are pretending to be someone else.

If you really want to get motivated, do something for yourself. Dahil ang first step to motivation ay respeto sa sarili. On the way to reaching your goal, tataas lalo ang respeto mo sa sarili and that makes all the difference. No bullshit, no other people involved. Just you and your alter ego. Can you reach your goal for yourself? I don't know. Basta ako. I'll keep on running until I can make that damn 10k finish line.
