Promises

Stop making promises. 

I don't promise. Why? 

One, I'm afraid to break a promise.

Two, it defeats the reasoning "promises are meant to be broken." 

Three, I don't have to. If I say something. I'll do it the best I can. No questions asked. Kung di ko nagawa. It means hindi kaya ng powers o nakalimutan kong gawin. 

Four, there's this huge expectation when you promise something. Parang inherent na sa isip ng tao. At kapag hindi mo nagawa, sobrang galit na nila sa'yo. Pag nagawa mo naman.. Well, wala lang. So, you might as well not promise and do it na lang ne? 

But wait, there's more! If you don't promise and then ginawa mo talaga, ang effect nun sobrang matutuwa yung tao. It's as if nagpromise ka ngang gagawin mo. 

Di ko rin gets bat ganyan dito sa Pilipinas. Pero malayo mararating mo sa simpleng payo kong ito. 

Totoo to. Hindi ako nagpa-promise ha.
